A new game UPDATE has just landed, and we’re so excited to share the patch notes with you all!

The new version has a few things in store, so let’s take a closer look.⤵️

🔥 NEW FEATURES 🔥

New! Game Modes Rotation

Now you are able to play different game modes with different modifiers called Mutators. We have 3 mutators in this version:

  • SpeedUp — movement speed is increased by 40%
  • HealthyAir — every 5 seconds everyone restores 50 HP
  • QuickSpecials — specials cooldown is 10 seconds instead of 30 seconds

New! Leaderboard Screen

A leaderboard screen is now available in the main menu.

Play Ranked matches to obtain trophies and become the top player. Or maybe your clan can dominate ALL the top spots?

New! Kick Player Option

A new button in custom games to “Kick Player” from the match before it starts.

Whatever the reason — now the match owner can remove players from your custom game on a matchmaking screen

+ New! 🎵Announcer Sound FXs in matches 🎵

🔧 SYSTEMS UPDATE 🔧

“Deathmatch” is back! ☠

Find it in the new system of rotating game modes. There are three slots currently:

  • The first one is always Casual Battle Royale with random Mutators (from 0 to 2 at once)
  • The second one is always Casual Deathmatch with random Mutators (from 0 to 2 at once)
  • The third slot never changes — it’s always Ranked Battle Royale with no Mutators
Deathmatch is back!

Lowered Rank Requirement 📊

We have lowered the requirement of players for “Ranked” match from 20 to 10

Battle Royale map updated 🗺

  • Many more buildings are walkable now on the Battle Royale map with entrances being highlighted with a shader
  • When you are inside the building — players outside can’t see you. Ambush others and enjoy being ambushed!
  • More environment objects and replanning of some passages. Explore new routes, nooks and dead ends
  • We added new consumables, pickups and chests in new areas, and rearranged some existing ones to respect the updated map
New Vehicles

New Equipment Stats ⚔

Equipment items now have two more stats: Attack Range and Pickup Speed. Let’s see what new builds can arise (also take Balancing Changes into account — more on them further below).

  • Attack Range — all weapons come with their default values, but using other gear you can slightly push this attack range further
  • Pickup Speed — get a bonus to how fast you pick up all things; it may seem like a little detail, but sometimes being able to grab a health pack quickly in the middle of a fight makes a difference

📈 Improvements 📈

  • In a Custom Game there are counters now to see how many players and spectators joined
  • Floating texts for damage, ammo pickups, shields pickups etc. were improved to make them more consistent
  • Now the game will automatically switch to the collecting weapon if the weapon’s ammo was previously depleted
  • “Yellow” state was removed from health bars. Now they go from green directly to red when a character is critically low on health
  • “Cancel special” button now sits at the same spot as a special you have used. Just drag it back to cancel your special ability
  • Now the Casual Battle Royale is the default game mode and reordered the game mode slots in the pop up

Balancing Changes

  • Health pickups 1̶.̶2̶ ̶s̶e̶c̶o̶n̶d̶s̶ ̶ > 1.5 seconds

  • Chest Pickup time 1̶.̶5̶ ̶s̶e̶c̶o̶n̶d̶s̶ > 1.8 seconds

  • Deathmatch base HP is still 800

  • Small consumable drop chance: 1 drop (100%) + 1 drop (50%) > 2 drops (100%)

Rare Crate

  • Small consumable drop chance: 1 drop( 100%) > 2 drops (100%)

Legendary Crate

  • Large consumable drop chance: 3 drops (100%) > 4 drops (100%)

🏹 WEAPON CHANGES 🏹

Crossbow

The crossbow was heavily underperforming. We have pumped up it’s damage and given it some accuracy at the cost of it’s mobility. It should now be a highly effective hit and run weapon.

  • Base Power: 250 > 300
  • Accuracy
  • Standing Attack Angle: 10 > 7
  • Moving Attack Angle: 25 > 14
  • Aim Move Speed penalty: 0% > 20%
  • Attack Speed ramp down time: 2 seconds > 1.5 seconds
  • Attack Range: 7 > 6

Scattergun

The scattergun was by far the best shotgun due to it’s double shot action and fast reload cancel ability. We are toning back it’s advantages to pull it into line with the rest of the weapons.

  • Base Power: 250 > 180
  • Aim time: 0.125 seconds > 0.2 seconds
  • Attack Range: 5 > 4

SMG

The SMG wasn’t offering enough of a reward for being the high capacity, high mobility spray weapon it was meant to be. We are upping it’s damage potential and allowing it to come online quicker to compensate for it’s lower dps.

Base Power: 250 > 140

Attack Speed:

  • Initial attack speed: 150 rpm > 200 rpm
  • Ramped attack speed 750 rpm > 800 rpm
  • Ramp up time: 1 second > 0.8 seconds

Damage Ratio: 15% > 25%

Accuracy:

  • Moving Attack Angle: 35 degrees > 25 degrees
  • Attack Range: 6 > 5

Assault Rifle

The AR has been retooled into a scaling monster. Stack a bunch of attack power with this gun and watch the damage rack up!

  • Base Power: 200 > 180
  • Attack speed: 120 rpm > 133 rpm
  • Accuracy: Standing Attack Angle: 10 degrees > 7 degrees
  • Attack Range: 7 > 6
  • Damage Ratio: 33% > 80%

Hunting Rifle

The hunting rifle is the weakest of the 3 snipers due to it’s movement inaccuracy. We are pushing up it’s damage and making it a bit easier to use so that it should be a far more rewarding weapon.

  • Base Power: 250 > 400
  • Aim time: 0.4 seconds > 0.25 seconds
  • Damage Ratio: 140% > 120%

RPG

The RPG has been pretty decent, but it was a little too inconsistent to be worth using, so we are making it less random

  • Base Power: 250 > 200
  • Projectile speed: 9 > 12
  • Attack Range: 8 > 7
  • Damage Ratio: 50% > 45%
  • Splash Damage Ratio: 25% > 50%

Accuracy:

  • Standing Accuracy: 15 degrees > 10 degrees
  • Moving Accuracy: 35 degrees > 25 degrees

Minigun

The minigun hasn’t been fulfilling it’s massive attack speed fantasy very well, so we are boosting it’s attack speed to get there.

  • Base Power: 250 > 100
  • Damage Ratio: 20% > 30%
  • Attack Range: 7 > 6

Attack Speed:

  • Ramped attack speed: 1200 rpm > 2400
  • Ramp up time: 2 seconds > 1.5 seconds

Pistol

The pistol is receiving more buffs to compensate for it’s tricky use case. It should now be a powerful weapon if you are skilled enough to use it.

  • Base Power: 250 > 300
  • Accuracy: 5 > 3
  • Damage Ratio: 40% > 50%

Shotgun

For many of the modern style weapons, we will be giving them a buff to their base damage, but a nerf to their damage ratio

  • Base Power: 250 > 350
  • Attack Range: 5.5 > 4.5
  • Accuracy: 30 degrees > 33 degrees
  • Damage Ratio: 30% > 15%

Deadalus

Same as above

  • Base Power: 250 > 320
  • Attack Range: 6.5 > 5.5
  • Damage Ratio: 33% > 15%

Carbine

Same as above but with a slight accuracy buff

  • Base Power: 250 > 300
  • Accuracy: 15 > 7
  • Damage Ratio: 33% > 25%
  • Attack Range: 8 > 7

Sniper

The sniper is far too consistent and high damaging, benefiting far too much from stats. We are pulling down it’s scaling and buffing it’s base damage to compensate, just like the rest of the modern weapons

  • Base Power: 250 > 350
  • Attack Range: 11 > 10
  • Damage Ratio: 160% > 100%

Mod Launcher

The grenade launcher was simply dealing too much damage, so we have pulled it back in line with the rest of the weapons

  • Base Power: 250 > 200
  • Damage Ratio: 75% > 70%
  • Splash Damage
  • Radius: 2.5 > 2
  • Damage Ratio: 70% > 60%
  • Attack Range: 9 > 6

Heavy MG

Retooling the Heavy MG to have a massive base damage, and less scaling, as well as trading it’s accuracy for attack speed

  • Base Power: 250 > 360
  • Damage Ratio: 40% > 15%
  • Accuracy: 5 degrees: 15 degrees
  • Attack Speed: 600 rpm > 1000> rpm
  • Aim Movement Speed Penalty: 20% > 25%
  • Attack Range: 8 > 9

Laser Pistol

Buffing the laser pistol’s damage but reducing it’s capacity to match the DPS up

  • Base Power: 250 > 300
  • Attack Range: 7 > 6
  • Ammo Capacity: 150 > 50

Laser Blaster

The Laser Blaster is meant to be a 2 mode weapons, firing accurate tight bursts when standing still, and large spread pellets whilst moving

  • Base Power: 250 > 200
  • Attack Range: 6 > 8
  • Damage Ratio: 20% > 25%

Accuracy:

  • Standing Accuracy: 10 degrees > 7 degrees
  • Moving accuracy: 35 degrees > 40 degrees

Needle Gun

A small adjustment to the needle gun to really amp up it’s damage potential

  • Base Power: 250 > 100
  • Attack Range: 5 > 4
  • Damage Ratio: 20% > 25%

Laser Rifle

The laser rifle wasn’t unique enough among it’s peers, so it’s gained a small splash damage attribute which should make it’s damage output even greater, and more accessible, along with some general handling buffs

  • Base Power: 250 > 300
  • Attack Range: 9 > 7.5
  • Damage Ratio: 35% > 30%
  • Ammo Capacity: 200 > 100
  • New Splash Damage
  • Damage Radius: 0 > 0.5
  • Damage Ratio: 0 > 20%

Accuracy:

  • Standing Accuracy: 15 degrees > 5 degrees
  • Moving Accuracy: 35 degrees > 15 degrees

Pulse Rifle

The pulse rifle didn’t really have a unique niche compared to the weapons in the sniper class. We are changing it to create a burst fire weapon fantasy, as the weapon will fire 4 shots in quick succession.

  • Base Power: 250 > 400
  • Aim Time: 0.4 seconds > 0.5 seconds
  • Attack Speed: 100 rpm > 75 rpm
  • New Burst fire — Number of bursts: 0 > 4

Accuracy:

  • Standing Accuracy: 5 degrees > 3 degrees
  • Moving Accuracy: 25 degrees > 20 degrees
  • Attack Range: 9 > 10
  • Damage Ratio: 120% >750%

Plasma Cannon

  • Base Damage: 250 > 360
  • Splash damage — ratio: 50% > 80%
  • Ammo Capacity: 40 > 30
