How To $BLST and Why You Should Care

We mention $BLST quite often, and this term also circulates in the community. But do you know what it means? And why is it important for all of us? Let’s dive in and figure out a few important things about it — don’t skip this even if you’re a veteran — there might be learnings for you as well.

$BLST is short for Blast tokens. They are the primary cryptocurrency of the Blast Royale ecosystem. All NFT equipment pieces, characters and things on our marketplace that we don’t even know about — they are and will all be bought and sold using $BLST.

Blast tokens will be used in many systems as well, such as upgrading NFT equipment and replicating it. They will also be used for staking — which is the system when you lock your tokens for some time to passively earn some rewards.

A couple of technical details to spice things up — $BLST is an ERC-20 token working on a blockchain. It will be openly traded on an exchange, which means that anyone will be able to buy or sell $BLST there.

Apart from buying $BLST on an exchange, you can earn them by actively participating in community activities, such as Deathmatch Beta Campaign that is happening now. And when the game is fully launched there will be tournaments with $BLST prizes as well. For these rewards, Blast Royale holds a Playing Rewards pool with more than 200 million $BLST tokens. And all those tokens will be gradually distributed over time to reward the best players and contributors.

Blast tokens unlock many possibilities in the Blast Royale ecosystem so it makes sense to always have some in your wallet to be able to use all the systems and participate in all activities that will be happening around the project.
