Eve, our Junior Developer, discusses everything from blockchain gaming to First Light Game’s work culture.
Throughout this series of interviews, members of the team will discuss everything from Blast Royale to cryptocurrency to art and game development. We begin our third interview with our Junior Software Developer, Evelina Kulvinskaite, who shares her thoughts about battle royale games and the working culture at First Light Games.
Who are you, what is your career background, and what do you do at FLG?
I’m Eve. I come from a medical background specialising in dentistry. Proudly I am a Junior Software Developer here at First light games. My days are full of challenges with learning lessons that makes me progress toward my dream, to be a game developer!
How did you first hear about FLG and how would you describe the working environment?
I attended my first FLG crypto-meet-up and felt such optimism and passion for the project in the team. Their common vision shared together inspired me so much. I feel so blessed to be a part of it!
I would love to share the feeling at FLG. Working at the office feels like home where we all have a great time like playing games together or working on mutual goals while learning from each other to be our best selves!
Why is NFTs and blockchain technology important in a game like Blast Royale?
I just love to play it and compete against my friends and colleagues! So much adrenaline while trying to run away with low HP to save my life:D
I’m very curious about how will it feel to earn blockchain tokens in-game tournaments like the ones in Blast Royale. I believe this will give another level of true ownership that you don’t get to experience in normal web2 games.
Overall, I am learning so much about NFTs and blockchain technology, it’s a very exciting industry to be in! Hope to talk more about it in the next interview :)
What do you think makes Blast Royale unique from other gaming blockchain projects?
I’m not a fan of Battle Royale games, but I do love Blast Royale! It’s a fun game that you must try out!
Do you have any exciting game updates that you can share with us?
We are working really hard for the Battle Royale release version for players to enjoy in the next weeks. Ensure you have a beta tester spot assigned to play the game.
